Both the month of July and SICSA’s Humane Education Summer Camps are coming to a close this week. From Humane Hero Summer Camp focusing on all things animal welfare, to Veterinary Adventure Camp centering on veterinary medicine, each week campers have covered new and exciting topics with the help of their counselors and some furry friends at SICSA. This year, camps offered options for ages ranging from 5 to 16, serving a total of 111 campers over the course of the six week timeframe. Visitors from Miami Valley Pet Therapy, Brukner Nature Center, Learning Tree Farm, MedVet, and of course, SICSA, helped campers learn and grow their love and compassion for animals.
