SICSA’s New Cat Lifesaving Manager

Since 2014, Becca Millis has held numerous positions at SICSA Pet Adoption and Wellness Center; Adoption Counselor, Foster Coordinator, Enrichment Specialist, Satellite Cat Program Coordinator, and Cat Behaviorist are all titles she has held. With all of this experience and a deep love of felines, Becca is on to her next adventure with SICSA as our Cat Lifesaving Manager. In her new position, Becca will continue her work in keeping cats out of the shelter and with their loving families through behavior assistance, and addressing the behavioral needs of cats currently calling SICSA home. In addition to this, she will be working with SICSA volunteers, local municipalities, and other organizations to aid in SICSA’s Trap, Neuter, Return, Monitor (TNRM) program serving community cats. With her efforts for cats that already have homes, those seeking adoption, and those living in colonies throughout our communities, Becca will play an important role in SICSA’s efforts to save as many felines as we possibly can.

If you would like to join Becca in her cat lifesaving efforts, you can join the volunteer SICSA TNRM team! These volunteers assist in roles like Cat Captain (monitoring and assisting cat colonies), trapping cats for their spay/neuter appointments, spreading the word through community outreach, and more. If you are interested in joining the TNRM Team, please contact Becca Millis at bmillis@sicsa.org for more information.
