Santa’s Visit to SICSA

It’s that special time of year when good cats and dogs await the arrival of the man in red. The pets of SICSA were lucky enough to receive an early visit from Santa himself with toys, treats, and magic in tow. With the help of his friends from Cheryl’s Cookies, Santa passed out a few toys to some especially good pets! Mac, a senior dog waiting for a new home, received the squeaky toy he had been wanting. Salem, a playful young cat, was gifted a new wand toy! Primrose, a pup with lots of personality, even played with Santa for a bit using the new rope toy he had brought for her!

We were extremely grateful that Santa and his friends took time out of their busy schedules to visit with us. Their donations will make an incredible difference for the pets in our care as they await adoption this holiday season. If you would like to follow Santa’s lead and make the season a bit brighter for the pets at SICSA, you can visit the Giving Tree in our Adoptions Lobby!

The Giving Tree is a SICSA tradition we hold dear. Each year, we put up the tree with ornaments featuring various current and previous pets in SICSA’s care. Each ornament has a wish list on the back with items SICSA and our pets need. When you visit, you can take an ornament and return with some or all of the items listed, and place them under the Giving Tree. If you would prefer to give online, you can also donate needed items through our Amazon Wish List. No matter how you give, your gifts are deeply appreciated by all of the pets and people at SICSA!
